If were talking cars in general id say

Corsa - cost £9500 sold £1800

MR2 cost £14k sold £7.5k

Impreza - cost 7k sold 4k

Thats only the major ones, could add a couple k's on for impulse buys & run arounds!!

Insurance - about £6k in 6 years

So about £23k all in inc buying/selling & insurance...id dare touch on petrol or maintenance/running costs

Not that bad considering in that time my dad bought a car kept it all the time I had those cars & lost £18k on the one car

I no longer laugh at my mates who never bothered to learn to drive...they must be loaded

Mine has cost me £1900 and I've driven her once

Should be back in my hands on the 16th though, with a few minor things I'll be leaving 'til summer......suspension, ICE mainly. But you know what it's like with cars.....

bought the gsi in september, up to now spent ...
£250 on the 16" softstars.
£150 on full respray of bumpers, arches, skirts and tailgate rid of all rust.
£130 on 4 new gsi arches
£50 on depo headlights
£60 on new 40mm jamex springs
£20 for v6 vectra callipers.
£30 on pvd induction cone.

and i aint finished yet, thats just the start. thinkin of either goin mental and puttin a dbilas manifold + turbo on next year, or just stackin it full of ice (performance prefferred being a mechanic), so overall i spent £690.

I also did 90% of all the work so could have been an easy 20k if id payed a garage/bodyshop for it all

that all includes it being sprayed at 5 bodyshops, 2 engines and only 2 sets of whhels all in 4 years
