theres been a change of plan now. i was going to spray the wheels myself this weekend but ive decided that i want the wheels to me mint so there now at the powder coaters and should be ready to pic up on friday all nice and white! if i can get my tyres sorted out in time then will hopefully get them bolted on next weekend

the wheels are being powdercoated in road traffic gloss white. cant wait to get them back and fitted!

go back to white mate, i put my old bonnet back on after selling the carbon one and was surprised how good it looked!! thinkin of takin my speedlines to the coaters for some white aswell!! only been done not so long back in an anthracite colour though so im undecided!

after seeing urs chap, i think its gotta go back to white. ive been looking at pre97 bumpers and there really starting to look very temping lol. smoothed white pre97's

lol james cars lookin gd mate yes swap ur front bumper for mine and then smooth it

my wheels are arriving tomoz , and also got the money to mine coated now so hopefully on soon

ive already advertised my bumper before but we'll see what the wheels look like with it. i can get my hands on std pre97 bumps so might give them a look sometime

rollcage arrived today (big thanks to dave a and vsport). will get pics up of it on thursday when im next back at home. it wont get fitted next weekend but i'll keep the progress pics coming

nothin more has happend to the engine yet as im deciding what to do about lightened flywheel atm then the bottom end is going away to be lightened and balanced.

had a phone call from the powdercoaters last night to say that my wheels were done so my brother went and collected them today and sent me a picture of them. there amazing! will be fitting the tyres on thusday when im next at work and ill get the pictures up

new update. 15.02.2007

wheels are back from the powder coaters and there immaculate!
ordered some tyres through work and got them fitted today. i didnt have my car at work so didnt get to fit them but that will come tomorrow and ill give it a wash also as the wheels are really gona show my car up.

the tyres are 195/45 r16" pirelli pzero neros which i got for £35 each!!

also bought some new centre caps for them off ebay. genuine bbs centres, carbon fibre look with chrome logo

and heres my new MPS rollcage. cant wait to get it bolted in but i need some brackets welded in so its going to have to wait

mint mate, think your bumpers that you have now will look mint with the wheels, not keen on pre 97s at all mate myself.
