Yep, well it's off the road just now. I think it needs a new starter motor among some other stuff... Sigh. Been off the road for more than 3 weeks. I only had it 2 weeks and it broke down.
I plan to spray my bumpers and arches when i get some dry weather. Listen to that dam rain! Hopefully they will turn out ok. If i ever figure out how to get them off

Well I though i may as well tell yous what engine is in it. Once i blew my 1.2 up, I never really replaced it with another one
I got offered a 1600 16v with blown head gasket, stripped ready to be built for £50 quid! Bargin so I took it!
Set about building it up and painting it :
Once it was built it was time to get it in and running :
Had a few small teething problems with it but nothing major! All in it took 2 days to build the engine back up and get it running
Got it RR'd last Saturday, 110.5BHP 112lb.ft of torque! Not bad for a 50 quid engine!
On sunday night I put the diff out through the gearbox tho
so will get more progress pics once I start to do the box!

It cost me the price of a head gasket and the price of a timing belt. So about 20 quid fitted

Well a little bit of an update, This is the 2nd gearbox in a month
I stripped the diff cover off to inspect the damage and the plantery gears are buggered so I removed the diff and will build one out off the gearboxes i have lying around!
So heres some pics of what I did the last half an hour at my work tonight :-

Little update.
Seen as the gearbox is fucked, ive decided to rebuilt the engine as well because the piston rings are away on it and I have been putting off doing them for ages!
Also a pic of my slightly illegal tyres :O And my dirty wheels which I am just gonna go clean right now
Didnt get much progress done in removing the engine
More tomorrow hopefully

If anyone cares
Removed and stripped the engine today after my work!! Hopefully get the head skimmed and gaskets, shells, and rings ordered up tomorrow!!
Dont think this broken earth on the loom would be helping much . . .
Its out!
Empty space from below,
On the stand
On the stripdown
Nice!
The head off and turned around ready to remove the sump
Back round the right way
And a wee shot of thw workshop for tonight
Thats all, hopefully more tomorrow!
