With regards to the rest it's already been said!
exactly!

noise or not, 1000 tickets ut of 5500 is ridiculous for the 'top' team in the Prem.
It just shows they are a club of bought supporters, who are only there for a few cups and dont travel to support them...unlike the majority of the clubs in the Prem.
I'm sorry but when Man Utd were dominating the table constantly/winning trophies etc only a few years ago, people were saying that they were "glory hunters".
Chelsea are not a club of bought supporters, fair enough some may not be "real" supporters who only as you put it "only there for a few cups". BUT do not tar the real supporters with the same brush as these because they do travel no matter where no matter when to support their team regardless.
And I'm sorry but whatever radio station said that only 1000 chelsea fans were there must really learn to count Were you actually at the match? NO obviously not because if you were then you'd have realised that there were more than 1000 chelsea fans there clearly- or maybe you were there but you ran out of fingers and toes to count on?!

where exactly did I say they had no real fans? I have no doubt they have fans who have been following them for years, infact I will have seen them on numerous occasions seems Ive seen them at Anfield over the last 15yrs.
My point is for a supposed 'biggest club in the world' as your board would have us believe you only take 1000 (OK, lets say 2000) to an away game is shocking.
And the radio station was talksport, probably the most well respected sports station so wasnt some biased northern station before you spout that one off too.

Oh and just for the record strictly this is not true.
Attendance for Liverpool Vs Reading 4th November 2006 was 43,741
Attendance for Liverpool Vs Portsmouth 29th November 2006 was 42,467
Anfield has a capacity of 45,362
I don't need to patronise you to tell you that's not full capacity as you originally stated.

One of the biggest clubs perhaps, but I would necessarily sy they were THE biggest. What about other european clubs such as real madrid (for *example*)?
And I'm not going to get into an argument about what you heard on talksport- and I know it's a well respected radio station! But maybe you misheard them because there were definitely more supporters there!

I had major difficulty leaving OT when it only held 66,000, I couldnt even begin to imagine how much of a nightmare it is trying to get home when there are 75,000. I rather leave 10mins early, and get home 1 hour early, rather than leave on time and get home 1 hour late. Try getting a tram from near the stadium. You'd be lucky to wait an hour.

Reading - Its their first season, of course they are going to fill the away end every week.
Pompey - Same, they are relatively new to the Prem and will carry on filling up away ends until they have been in this league for a few seasons.
Its works in every league with every newly promoted team, so sorry i'm not having that point above.

Nath - so you understand Reading and Portsmouth filling grounds away, but fans of a top top team not following is understandable?
Jill - Im not saying they are one of the biggest clubs, not even top 3 in UK IMO. But your board seems to.

Why do Chelsea's "Glory Hunting supporters" not want a ticket then? Basically nobody can get away from the fact that a club who claims to want to overtake Manchester United as the biggest club in the world (possible exception of Real) can't fill 4500 seats at a game. I think it's fucking hilarious
