i think max survives - as OB ends up looking after the loft and clare is in the show till spring - so there has to be a follow up and possible big court case. not sure though as there is a funeral coming up where mandy comes up - but that could be for becca

Max realises his wife is trying to kill him and, shocked at his state, OB and Tony insist he goes to hospital.
But Clare takes Max away with her. Desperate to save himself and Tom, he comes up with an escape plan. But then he hears screams that Tom has fallen into the freezing lake. Not realising he's being tricked, Max plunges in after his brother. With Max dead, OB mourns his best mate as Clare is questioned by police.
