Loan or permanent deal jill? He's made another wrong decision if its permanent as he'll be going elsewhere in the summer when west ham are relegated!

David Jones has just signed form Man United to Derby County. £1m. Can't believe they've let him go, he was one of the better reserve players. I was sure they were going to keep him. He was really good in the Carling Cup against Crewe.

West Ham have apparently offered 9.8m for him! Not sure if he'll go though, I mean as you say West Ham will most probably be relegated this season- unless they seriously step up their game.... ! And even if he's spending a lot of time on the bench at Chelsea atm it's still a better prospect and will open up better opportunities for him if he stays put for now (just my opinion though).

Fot that money chelsea should hold onto to him. Its a massive loss and not like they need to sell sell sell. I really rate SWP but he's never been given a chance.

I have heard the link to him, but dont see us spending 15mil+ on someone who wont get in the team. He isnt better than Sissoko IMO, and nowhere near Alonso or Gerrard.
