They are vary with cars, they were more expensive for my Astra Coupe than direct line, they prefer to insure cars of lower value but with modifications.

I called Brentacre and they came up with £1150 FC with protected NCB.
I call adrian flux and told them the price , they said they would not match it without proof as it was so cheap Brentacre sent me proof called up Adrian Flux and they wer enot impressed , had to go to the manager and then they came back and said they would do it for £1140
Haha!

im with them, spot on for customer service. Not sure on what i get back though if i claim?! Got told 2 different things. Anyone know what happens with the mods if you claim?
When i quiried that my excess was 450 and that the market value of my car was very little one said that i get an agreed value back, which stands at 1600, then another said they claim the money back on mods as much as possible? Which doesn't sound right as i have stuff like half leather interior, which i got second hand but form puegeot would no doubt be stupid money, so don't see how that works?!

thread digging, but what the hell...
25
6 points
2.5years NCB (will hopefully be 3 come August)
Full licence since Sept 2004
Corsa GSi
140bhp limit
all mods declared and room for more
£534.70 TPFT (no need for fully comp tbh)
The NCB will be mirrored from the Omega (even tho insure though another company)
Knew exactly what I was talking about to
Alot of other places wouldnt even insure me given the 6 points and mods, cheapest I did get was neat £1100
