We've just signed Jordy Brouwer from Ajaz now who is 18 and plays for the dutch U19's. He is a forward I think!

So now thats:
Daniele Padelli, 21yr old Italian Goalie
Emiliano Insua, 18yr old Argentinian Left back
Sebastian Leto, 20yr old Argentinian winger (on loan to Lanus until end of season)

Off the website, all I know about him! Think I read yesterday the Ajax Chairman saying they werent impressed with him and didnt want him to stay but guessing thats just to save face as he decided to come to us and not stay there!

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Dutch youngster Jordy Brouwer from Ajax.
The 18 year old striker is the latest of Rafael Benitez's youth recruits as the manager continues his policy of planning for the club's future.

Brouwer, Jordy
Daniele Padelli and Emiliano Insua have already signed for the Reds during this month's transfer window and now Brouwer - who plays for the Dutch under-19 side - has swapped Ajax for Anfield.

"We have made a good signing for the future in Jordy," said chief executive Rick Parry.

"He has had a youth contract at Ajax, but has opted to build his career at Liverpool.

"We have been monitoring his progress and look forward to developing his potential at Anfield."

Yeah, dont think he cost anything so is worth the risk. Could turn out to be the next RVN (minus the donkey face and playing for the scum)

Been playing really well for Yeovil apparently.

He's 19 years old so seems like a good signing if it happens.

Apparently Glenn Roeder's going to bring in an international defender on loan in the next 48 hrs.
Rumours flying about that we're gonna go for Curtis Davies as well for £9m plus Titus Shambles.

Pennant only cost 6m and has more experience that him! But yeah I agree English players command a premium but that price is ridiculous!
