All the Fiesta Zetec and Ghia cars have Zetec engines which have a 'Zetec-S' badge on. They did a 1.25 16v, 1.4 16v and then the 1.6 16v in the Zetec S.

My girlfriends 1.4 was pretty nippy, didn't handle to well as it was a GhiaX but was better than my 12v

They have engine troubles though, so I'd go for a Corsa mate!

Yea but when puttiing your parents down as named drivers you still have to put them as having 0 no claims, right ? Because they can only use it on one car ?

What age are you, and do you have any no claims bonus Jay ?

Im pretty sure it doesnt ask for the parents no claims as long as their not the main policy holder.

I got my 1.6 sport at 18 and admiral were the company who quoted me under 1k.

It doesnt matter mate, I got an online quote with just myself on there, and then got another with my parents as named drivers with 0 years no claims bonus, and it knocked it down a hundred quid!

Wow - Sorry for stealing you thread here.

I am currently paying £940 for a 1l 12v corsa. With my dad as the main driver and me as a named driver. Thrid part fire and theft.

I just done a quote for next year with only me on the policy - 1 year older (19) and 1 years no claims. £550! Thats amazing. Thats such a discount on what i'm paying just now. £940 is crazy for a 1l anyway.

I added my dad as a named driver and i rised to £560. £10 more expensive.

I'm paying £1k on my 12v - the policy is in my name. That is a good deal, I've got some quotes for over £2k

Hopefully, with 1 NCB under my belt in September, it'll go down loads.
