news just found more rust than expected under the drivers seat quite a big hold and also on the drivers side the chassis is virtualy non existent

mine was £50 beautiful bodywork 2 months tax and 8 months MOT 135k on the clock but apart from a worn camshaft (cam kit £100 from Vauxhall) runs beautifully. no smoke, no oil leaks. feels like it has half the mileage it does. no rust either. i got a bargain!!!!!

your right thereyou did get a bargain will have pics of the rust damage soon and i have ordered a chrome "corsa1.2" badge from vauxhall any ideas where to put it ?

On the boot ? I wouldn't of ordered one in the first place. If it was already debadged.

i debadged it myself it was only 4.50 and i like vx chrome badges instead of the old plastic that was on there

naa i dont wanna get rid its been fun playing with the little rust bucket and it is repairable anyway i will get all the rust and structure fixed over the weekend with the help of some metal new sills and a mig welder and my dad

will be good when its all repired, i went out and bought a n plate 90k gsi for £50 and had the same damage, mines will get sorted when i get a dry day, but saying that its glasgow i live in

u lucky fella i would of lucked for a better car if my girlfriend could afford insurance on something more than a 1.2 u will have to show me how you repaired yours just found out the front springs are broken aswell lol
but i have some new ones for 20 quid is the rust damage on yours where the wishbone joins the chassis?

little update bought some used springs from super mike for 20 quid including postage heres a pic
will update at the weekend when the welding gets done the springs probably wont get done till nxt weekend
