I hope this turns out to be true
When he is confident with a team who values him, he runs the tempo of the game and has his wingers on each arm, he dictates, would be perfect with Gerrard who can be the attacking half of the midfield.

He will have to be good to take Alonso's place though, as he has been immense since he joined us.

Gk - Has to be Cech (Even though he sold his ass to a Russain)
Rb - Gary Neville - Skill commitment and experience
Centre backs - John Terry (not bad for a lad who started as a left back)
Rio Ferdinand for his pace
Left Back - Heinze - Gets stuck in, can cross and hit free kicks.
Wingers - Ronaldo and Ronaldinho - No explanation required
Centre mid - Scholes and Gerrard
Forwards - Henry and Rooney

The man is quick though. I seem to remember him beating Gonzalez to the ball at OT earlier this year. If you had JT to organise the back four and head the ball out then Rio has what he doesn't and that would be pace.

I would never pick Rio in any defence of mine, makes too many mistakes IMO. He is a good defende, just too prone for that off mistake. Thats why I cant believe Carragher doesnt get in the England team when, along with Terry, he has been the most consistant defender over the last 3 seasons.
And in a straight run Rio would NEVER beat Gonzalez.

I almost put Carra in there but he is too similar to Terry imo. You are absolutely right Rio would never beat Gonzalez in a straight line. However as a centre back he always going to be running the short side of a triangle. Even that against Gonzalez is an acheivement though which is why I mentioned it.

Yeah, I would never personally put Carra in the team simply because he doesnt score enough. He can defend aswell as Terry IMO without a doubt, and better than Rio, although he will score less than him. But I just still wouldnt put Rio in there, just something about him I dont like as a defender, and its not that he is a Manc

But what about the amazing Sissoko and Alonso Jizinho, WHERE WILL THEY PLAY

Are you taking the piss jamie have a word with yourself
Sissoko is one of the hardest working players in the premiership and alonso's passing is second to none, who else can score from their own half twice in not much over a year?
I hope mascherano shines with us though as it would be a nice problem having four amazing central midfielders

I am sort of taking the piss. To be fair, it might be a nice problem to have 4 central midfielders, for the fans. 2 of those quality players are gonna be disappointed every week. How long will they allow this to go on?

My team btw:
GK - Cech - No one is better on top of their game
LB Cole - he is undoubtedly good and I can't think of anyone better in the PL (I'm only vaguely interested in the spanish league aswell as premiership)
CB - carragher, i'm sorry but his no nonesense approach has saved our arse sooooo many times, most commited player ever.
CB - terry
RB
CM - Gerrard (no explanation needed)
CM - Fabregas (up and coming, always in position)
RM - Aaron lennon (looks so confident and dangerous at times at tottenham, imagine him at a good team )
LM - Ronaldo (Pains me to say it but he is absolute class and exiting)
CF - Henry - stylish and amazing to watch
CF - Ronney just off henry, that'd be amazing to watch imo

Bound to be. People are going to pick their favourites from the team they support plus players that they would like in the team.

Based on that Marc, Luigi cant be biased because he doesnt support a team with decent players.
