I think the ford would go bang , Fiestas just cant take a good 'foot down' without feeling flimsy.

The Phase 2 does pull away Mav. Pulls away on accel, about the same top speed, and kills it on cornering and braking unfortunately

Phase 2 VTR is 100bhp and significantly lighter than both the Zetec S and Corsa mate. It will win overall imo.

Corsa C would win. About 130bhp which is significantly more than the B or the ZS.

Probably phase 1's then Mav The phase one had 90bhp. The 10bhp difference plus the weight difference adds up eventually

My sport was rolling road 3 times at 3 different rr's at 113/118/115bhp...

But more than likely all the rr's were all completly faulty and gave wrong readings

The 1.8 would be the quicker car, by a long way, it would be out of the corners quicker than the ZS and a 1.6 Sport or GSi really is no contest.

The corsa will win. I raced a few in my old sport, and my Brocade one before I had a inlet on it, and beat them. Not by much mind

Do the arb kits come with uprated bushes? I cant see why the Gsi with Coilovers/braces bushes etc shouldn't out handle anything?

you cant get the full Works kit in the UK. Whiteline is an Australian company. they created a full A-Z handling kit for the Corsa/Barina. its meant to be unreal

Tried to give a zetec s a run for its money in my old 1.4 sport - it obviously got the better of me (through the somerset moor lanes) but i stuck behind him for a good while ragging the crap out of my poor little corsa. It was a loose loose situation though!
