there is a german site i found that sells number plate surrounds that you can put in your window, they have a built in light to dont think it will pass a mot ? but its an option...just dont tint your windows

small update 17/02/07
got some more bits throught the post yesterday so decided to put them on, smoked vectra map light, alcantera gaitors, dial rings (didnt fit ) little touches make the difference imo
oh and the wheels went on today, rota cups 8"x16" with toyos, went on pretty well to be fair although 2mm spacers are required for the perfect fit (will be sorting this out on tuesday)
i havnt wound the sus down yet due to lack of light/time, will be cracking on on tuesday (would be monday but my dads got me working for him) hopefully should get the skirts modified and smoothed then get the car lowered to take some pics for the thread i'll probs lift it back up tbh cos its easier to work on.
the wing will be coming off so my mate can fix it for me, im also going to paint the calipers (not sure what colour) then i can sort some lights out and i think it deserves a proper clean so will give it one of them too if theres time
sneek peek of the wheels, ill sort out some better ones later 8)

ok so after thinking i wouldnt have a chance today, i managed to get started on the car
first thing i wanted to get going was the skirts. they were sanded and drilled ready to be filled with FG front and rear, i drilled to give more strenght to the skirts, might not work but seems ok at the min. i then got a first layer of bodge on and kinda smoothed, although for a first shot i think it looks ok, i will be putting another layer over it
only picture i took as i was worried about it raining just forgot to take anymore
whilst i had the wheels off i took the oppertunity to paint the calipers and drums, only had black hammerite so black it is!!
i might change the colour if i can decide on one that goes well
so i lowered the car too, wound it down quite a way, still needs more imo, but i can get full lock NO scrubbing at this height so it will do whilst im working on the car. the springs might settle a bit anyways, we'll see i suppose.
i slapped a skirt on just to see the effect so excuse the sanding marks, but you get the general idea i think
tried to be arty in this one but im crap
come a long way in a few days, lots of little bits are also in now (some are still waiting to go in)
hopefully should have the wing fixed by the end of the week 8)

the wheels look very well on that, but the skirts are wrong for the euro-ish look (i think thats what you are trying to acheive by the look of the wheels) and they are too deep to got with the depth of the bumpers, however it looks good apart from that
