Easy process, just keep some water handy, and dont hold it one place to long or it will start to warp

Yea i guess heat gun is best for extreams like that when the black has actually faded to white, otherwise Auto Glym bumper care works fine

Very dodgy way of getting the colour back if you ask me.. It takes a lot of heat to get them black, wouldn't be me doing it..

How is it dodgy ?, if your careful about it there is nothing dodgy there at all Have you ever tried it yourself ?

The water was just to tip over it to cool it down after we had done each part just for safety like.

My carbon bonnet i sold because i prefer the gold one .

to get it hot enough to bring the black back it melts the top layer........it may be good on badly faded arches, but it will warm them.. i found out the hard way

Didnt warp these at all.

We went round the whole car twice though, so we were never just heating one area at once.

Yup ive tried it on my mates arches when they were like that.. didnt like the way it was taking so much heat.. I usually just warm the arches and back to black, gives a really good finish..

I sopose you could take extra care on the bumpers and take the wheel arch trims off to be safe. or go to the scrappy and get spare ones just incase you mess them up
