Carson should have been in the squad at least in my opinion. But anyway here's how i would play it.
Robinson
G.Neville - Carra - Ferdinand - Bridge
Lennon - Barton - Lampard - Barry
--------------Gerrard----------------
---------------Rooney----------------

I'd rather Carson started then Robinson. I'm not a fan of his flapping antics

also Robinson is shite when the ball is played back to him.
90% of the time he will just smack it up straight from the pass back, he hardly ever controls it and takes time to pick out a pass, take it forward more, etc.

and the other 10% the ball rolls straight under his foot into the empty net

Looks interesting, not sure how well lampard and barton would play together behind gerrard. Might be better playing carrick behind barton in the centre and having a 4-1-3-1-1

I agree, bring Richards in and get him some experience, also sack fat frank off and keep crouch out of an England shirt.

1st thing my mate mentioned this morning when we were talking about football was scholes' poor challenges at the weekend. he isn't a dirty player but his tackling is really poorly timed lol
