cool wall was only ever every couple of weeks so guess it'll be back at some point.
IMO its just the same as before, its never been just about driving the cars and giving their opinion, always been about anything 'car related' and that is what makes it better than other car shows.

they can't cram everything into the first two shows for example the cool wall, there would be no point. thats why its called a series.

disappointed they changed their principle of not having people on to plug.
it was first time something was plugged and although i was at first that they had crumbled i loved the way JC didnt know how to do it so HG took over and completed it nicely in 12secs leaving us to laugh at his car history!
downhill??
no way! bring on more of the same!

I loved what JC said about Bugatti not letting TopGear have a Veyron for the Stig so they want a viewer to lend them one
Thats what they did with the Enzo; Ferrari wouldn't lend them one for the track - I think they used Nick Mason's

The bit that cracked me up was when he said about people that drive in the fast lane of the motorway at 50mph are paedophiles

because if its slower than a car a 1/3rd of the price they will be a bit gutted wont they

Can understand that, but it was built for speeds in straight line. Thats what people will buy it for, not how fast it went round a track.

Just seems as normal to me....bit disapointed the Veyron didnt get to go round the track though. What exactly do you think has contributed to it going downhill then??

It's gone downhill. I wasn't impressed with it this week. They seem to go around acting like tossers to impress people who read Maxim, GQ, FHM and Nuts magazine.

Thankyou.
Seems they are trying to keep up this "funny" reputation. Instead of it just coming out naturally like it used to. Seems more like a sketch show than a motoring show now.

I agree, it was better before all of this 'lets get a celebrity on and try to be funny' bollocks, and they don't even test the cars in a proper way now, too muc time spent talking about the fact that it has a wing which goes up and down and not enough driving.
I don't know WTF was going on with the golf course thing, but it was shite.

I have'nt watched last nights yet, but the Star in the car thing has always pissed me off. Don't like that bit. Still a good watch.
