I'm gonna lower it after i've got the wheels and get a decent alarm at the same time, either a Toad or Clifford, still undicided though.

All looks good apart from the tyres...toyo's are rubbish in the wet. Get uniroyal rainsports or goodyear eagle F1's. Also dont bother with the brakes. Get a set of 2ltr calipers, GM disks, mintex pads and some braided hose lines

Gap security has a brill reputation, but I just want a good alarm that won't go off from a neighbours cat landing on its roof.

Sounds good, can't wait to see the pics and progression etc. I take it XE plans aren't for a while 'cause of insurance?

Nice plans, but why the 55 profile tyres. Would look better with 50 or 45

50 or 45's would slow the speed of the car down at 70mph than 55 profile tires.

Dont go with GAP security mate, theyre so expensive and theyre just a bunch of salesmen on the other end of the phone and they really try and pressure you into buying one of their alarms.
I bought my clifford concept 650 from specialist security and their service was superb, realy friendly people and will give you loads of advice etc.
I paid £349 was about 2 years ago though, would definetly use them again!

hope this helps mate

(oh and dont fit morretes with the GSi bumper! they look awful and you have to cut holes in your bumper for the indicators!)
