there is massive grey area when concerning car parks as they are classed as private land

thus any accidents in car parks prove tricky to claim especially if it is an accident

Unless its staff who have done it then tesco are not liabel for any damage caused

Owners of a car park, that is free of charge, are exempt from claims for damages. However I do believe that if you pay for parking, (on street excepted) the onus is on the car park operator/owner to provide protection/supervision of your car and will be liable for damages caused by vandalism regardless of what disclaimers are advertised.

i always park in disabled bays when its empty nothing happens at my tesco its sweet.

yeah i always park right at the back or park right mext to a mates car and i mean right next to.. lol we got two cars in about a bay and a quarter

I always park miles from the store now where the car park is empty and park over 2 spaces...
