You sure its not just the CV boot clip, thats what it usually is.
All the things wrong with it are just common problems on Corsa C's

Nope, the boot has split on the hub end, as well as the clip missing.I know they're common faults, it's just starting to piss me off completely now I don't even like driving it, it's wank.

On the upside though Joe, you were right about the linkage being easy

Yeah
Haven't got round to it yet though, need to convince my mum that whatever car I replace it with will be better.
She assumes older = less reliable

Hate this car Surely with the problems it has faced your mum wouldn't mind you getting rid?

as for the cv boots, we do em all the time at work, funnily enough i did one today that needed pads+dics as they were scored and cv boot needed resecuring.
as for the linkage did you get the part linkage or the whole linkage?

This thing

I'm trying my best to convince my mum that Vauxhall want to charge me £375 for discs and pads, without fitting just so I can at least get some brakes which work
Eck, my mum disagrees, she thinks thatas I've sorted everything, nothing is left to go wrong....

i'd remove both cv boots andreplace with rubber universal ones,
vauxhalls plastic shite on corsa c's dont make it from one motto another without popping the clips
but if u just wanna fire a clip one make sure its the right one, there is 2 slightly different sizes
