Better than ford imo, just seems to be more of a cult following with fords, in all honesty the build quality of most older fords is shocking imo, having owned 4 fords and 2 vauxhalls i feel i am in a good position to comment, and french cars, dont get me started(also owned a few of these).

The motoring press just seem to have a hatred for all things vauxhall .

The corsa vxr looks awesome imo, as does the astra vxr not many other hot hatches i would want atm tbh....

they make it out to be quite tame? sounds like a good motor though. Can't wait to see it in the flesh, will let you know what i think once i've driven one.

It sounds good, but i cant get my head around the styling, it just doesnt work for me. Will be intresting to read the EVO review.

Review was a bit weird, it was pretty hyped up until the last paragraph where it says 197 is still better althought to me it sounded like for everything else it came out on top. Im left feeling confused. It all sounds very good though.
