So, going by the thread title, you're asking the question - GSi V's 106 GTi?

If so, the 106 GTi, without a doubt. End of discussion.

i think the title was a statement not a question

And what exactly was he stating?

That he raced.

No, you were on a road, and you said you beat it.

The only way you can beat something on road is by racing. Not by how shiny it is?

Just admit you raced and are talking shite and we'll leave you alone.

so whats this thread about?

you pulled away from a 106gti? highly probable if he wasnt racing or in the wrong gear. in which case, bit of a pointless thread.

or is this a thread claiming your corsa gsi is as fast as a 106 gti, because im going to tell you now....its not

gti / vts's differ...

You get good ones / duff ones / one's driven by planks.

I've seen a slightly tuned vts doing like 16.4's back when mine just had an exhaust and was doing 15.3 1/4 miles.

mine currently does 14.8 1/4 miles.

My mate's saxo (TB'd) does 14.05's!

By the sounds of your story that 106 gti was FUCKED.

Err, standard for standard GSi has no chance in hell.

Maybe with a Mantzel you might just be able to keep pace.

Although.... above 70mph there is little different between the two it has to be said. I'm talking about both cars doing 70mph and then flooring it.
