Im not putting down the Wii, i want one. Was going to get one for my bday but chose money instead because of holidays etc. I will get one when they are easy to get hold of though.
not really lol what difference do you think there is apart from its wired but you can get wireless gamecube pads for next to nothing. Dont forget the ps3 pad is pretty much just the same as the ps2 pad which is pretty much the same as the ps1 pad so not to much difference between that and the gamecube and theres not to much difference from an old xbox pad and the new xbox pad which was out the same time as the cube pads.
Only realy difference is the bells and whistles of the ps3 the tilt motion crap and the wireless on off of the 360.

I just know that i would rather use a 360/PS3 pad than a Gamecubes one, and the point is here both these consoles COME WITH these pads, dont have to get anything extra.
The pads are only a small point anyway, its obvious the GFX are FAR superior on the 360/Ps3 compared to the Wii, especially in HD.

ok tarrintino i own an xbox, but also spent alot of the weekend playing my mates ps3 so i will try and give you the main differences between the 2 imo.
1: price, 2: online, 3: games
if you arent really interested in hd movies then the price is alot more on the ps3.
you will get a free 1 month trial with xbl gold membership and its 40 quid a year if you want to renew, if you dont you will be on xbl silver and you cant play online but still download demos etc. ps3 online is free but right now you would be mad to pay for it, it has about 12 demos, a few full game downloads and a few blu ray movie trailers. also im not aware of a game thats out for the ps3 yet that you cant play online with.
right now the ps3 only has a few games for it while the 360 has over 100, although games like motorstorm and f1 are a blast when you get a few mates round but they also became boring quite quickly, i havnt played a game on the ps3 yet that i could say had a decent story line and would keep me entertained for a while. the 360 has a wide choice of games with a fair few of them getting decent reviews. both consoles have some decent future releases coming this year with the 360 having at least 5 titles which are worthy of going in for game of the year, the ps3 probably has an equal number of upcoming games that could take goty. also both consoles have there fair share of 1st party exclusive game developers working for them

yeah tbh i dont think its very bad looks quite nice obviously not 360 standard but still v nice to look at.
