Previously I've only played RE:2 on the PS and Code : Veronica X on the PS2, which I can't seem to find The opening animation pretty much confirms that the Wii is capable of games with good graphics, looks every bit as good as something I've seen on the PS2, I can't really comment on the PS3 and XBox360 but I'm sure most Sony/Microsoft fanboys would agree it looks good!
Controls are perfect for this game too, move around and run with the nunchuck and aim and fire with the wiimote, its almost like this game was designed for the Wii!
Its 9 years since I first played a RE game and I still jumped at the first encounter with a nasty LOL.
Only one issue so far, I can't seem to reload my guns

Graphics are more than ok imo. I can't comment on the 360 though.

* POSSIBLE SPOILER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW *
First real play on it. I've killed the guy in the cottage and entered the shed for the herbs, bullets etc and type writer check point. There was a dog caught in a hunters trap, I read that you need to free it so I did, I'm hoping all will be explained later! I came across another shed and collected some more ammo and killed another nasty. The zombies appear like the ones in the film Land Of The Dead, going about every day business until they see you. I've entered a village where the zombie villagers are farming then come after you when they see you. I ran out of ammo and got killed

The only thing that bugs me about this is that the controller doesn't control the camera/cross hair. I want to strafe and look and you can't

Update with spoilers:
I've now shot quite a few in the village then the church bell went and they all disappeared. I've collected quite a few boxes of bullets and herbs from the houses too. I chickened out of going in the church or up the spire and went through the gates, saved at the type writer and collected a few more things and killed a couple more. I went through another gate and got killed by the zombies pushing a boulder. As I've saved now I think I'll go back and check out the church!
