Thats a lovely motor mate, can i have a test drive. I havnt driven one yet and with my money situation i wont be driving mine for a long while yet

looks pretty clean that, get it all mopped up nice and red then you will be well away and leave it pretty standard IMO

looks clean, don't see many red GSi's shame about selling the sport though, loved that car was fresh.

if its totally standard itll still have the metal heatshield rounf the lower 2-1 pipe on the exhaust manifold

remove it, itll eiher be rattling now or will do.

i removed mine dont need it.

i think he means the lower part because mine rattles to fuck on my sport, when i checked it looks like the whole thing has snapped off, i need to get the actual thing off the pipe though lol

get underneath it and rip it off. it comes off easily and is defo worth it.

yea the whole lot is easym, just make sure obviously the car hasnt been running as it gets well hot, and it just like prises apart.

the heatshield in the engine bay shouldnt be a problem, it is separate from the exhaust heatshield underneath the car. i only removed the one from underneath the car and it makes no rattles, took 10 mins max
