topshot. If the ps3 was £100, you wouldn't buy it. you'd still complain about it and ignore how superior the online capabilitys will be compared to xbox live.

it doesnt have shit on live, especially as i will soon be able to play on live with my PC.
If it was £100 i would buy one, Not for more than £250 though.
I fail to see how its 'far superior'

So you paid over 250 for your 360 but you wouldn't pay over that for a more feature packed console, that's at least equal (imo) in the gaming stakes.

ibought mine for £290 with 2 games which would have cpst £25 and £40 so no id didnt pay over £250 for just the console. There was also no competition when i got it.
I havnt seen a game to match it yet from the PS3 plus if i want to watch bluray/HD DVD ill use a standalone not a console

Sounds very cool, an d ive openly said i will buy a PS3 once i feel i need to. Until then, i will stick with my 360 and spend my cash on getting myself a bigger HDTV.

but why all the excitement about a sims type system for the PS3??
surely a decent online interface and some solid games would be more of an appeal

Will be interested to see what it's like. Never really been into Sims or MySpace/Facebook so doubt I'll get too engrossed.
Probably something more for the g/f

see thats the thing yes it will appeal to people who love myspace ect but the price of the thing will put them off to begin with and after a while they would only go back to myspace.

the ps3 is like the corsa vxr, overpriced for the intended market, and isnt quite as good as it should be
