at some of these replies. Thanks everyone.
The bodywork needs some work doing to it. I'm getting the bonnet resprayed due to some chav keying it (not since I've owned it). The rear bumper could do with a re-spray also. All relatively cheap to sort out though. 
Car cost me £7,800. Was originally up for £8,500. Has tax until Feb 08 and MOT until Apr 08.
Willay - Southend sounds like a plan  I would like to finally meet you 
Tom - I've been looking at the BBS LM's, they're quite nice. Standard rear lights are going back on when I get them through the post. I like the rear spoiler personally. Will see how it all looks with new wheels on etc...
alli Ronald - I'm 24 in June mate. Insurance with Admiral set me back £750 (10 month bonus accelerator thingy) 4 years no claims.
Haimsey, nice photoshop attempt mate. doesn't look too bad!! I think black wheels on a black car is a no-no personally. Too much. There has to be some sort of contrast.
nathy_87 - what are you on about son?? shame its an auto? they're actually quicker than the manual gearboxes. Ok, perhaps not as fun but they are still quality. Depends how much you want to be involved in the whole driving experience i guess.
Colin - yes I think I may have to take out a mini-loan to cover the costs in petrol though
Daimo - fuel is crippling me they're actually not that bad as long as you keep the revs low. I managed a 7-8 mile journey and the needle hardly moved. Put your foot down though and watch it drop 
Loafofbrett - asian? The guy i bought it off was asian. He was a nice chap.
And for the record, I will not be returning to Slough anytime in the near future.
Chaz - nice wheels those, will keep my eyes out for a cheap set.

UK Spec has things like full leather, larger brakes etc etc... nothing you can't add onto the Jspec if so desired.
Not sure on the weight of the 2 models though.. can't imagine them differeing much.
