a little gthd v forza 2 comparison
what is really being compared is the background/trees, look a the difference! unfortunatly there are no close up cars in the forza shot.
couple that with damage, 60fps, customising, 8 cars on a track and far better physics...

I think the skyline looks more realistic than some of the cars I have seen in the forza pictures

i personally dont think the cars look any better, or any worse tbh.
what you also have to remember is that gthd is only modelling one car on a track, as opposed to eight, with no damage and at 30fps with less fps dedicated to physics, its far far easier to model more polygons in that scenario

Right....
But TBH I would prefer a better moddled car as opposed to a better modeled background.

i agree, but also i would happily sacrifice a slight drop in car modelling for ace physics and car damage..

Well time will tell I guess....
I think that GT is more of a show off game to say 'look what we can do' rather than a actuall game with lots of centent

GT was amazing at the time
IMO, the better game will be the one which plays better, not the one which looks better

tbh both gthd and fm2 have impressive looking car models, but the lighting/shadowing in fm2 is better and that makes it look that bit more realistic.

rus they are renders its obvious
no screenshots of gthd even come close the them, and gthd still uses the gt4 engine which is never in a million years going to produce stuff like that
