Try changing the wireless channel. Mine doesnt work on the default channel...im guessing the neighbours use theirs on that channel. I used to connect like you but couldnt use the network

you do it via the router.

- connect via the cable
- goto 192.168.0.1 with your internet browser
- Default login is [user:admin / passassword] i think
- click wireless settings
- change the channel from there then try reconnecting your laptop wirelessly

just thought Id update this thread as Ive just bought the same router (using it on AOL) and had the same problem.

Was all set-up fine, could get on the net when connected with a wire on the PC, all log in details were correct, etc. But the laptop, although it could connect to the router perfectly fine, wouldnt show webpages.

I just logged into the router, and chenged the chanel to another one (1-13, but no auto option) and all was fine!

So try that if you didnt get it to work
