enjoyed it for 12 years mate.....don't get me wrong I'd rather watch Premiership football but the Championship is proper honest football...I was sick to death this season of players like John Terry and Wayne Rooney running over to the referee every time a decision went against them...

it seems the better the quality of football the worse the players attitude, hope we never qualify for Champions League

I agree with you Jamie. its a poor excuse to say "Ooh soo many foreigners it does not give our players a chance"

If they are good enough they will play at the top. If they aren't they won't. Why should we lower the standard of the footy over here just to give a few more players a 'chance'

It especially pisses me off when people say "Oh X (from the top teams) don't give thier youngsters a chance. yes they loan them out to other top champ or prem teams to get experience. In my view if those teams are doing nothing the those teams that are taking them on loan really are sitting on thier arse!

You can't expect England to have the best teams in the world and youngsters to just be able to walk into the team.

and IMo youve got to blame the so call 'grass roots' clubs for not bringing good English talent through which are then picked up by the top teams, rather than blame the top teams for playing foreign players or not only the best of the best english youth.

the point i was making wasnt about 'club before country' because im guilty of that but how the english game has teams of foreginers with maybe one or two english in the team (example liverpool, arsenal) and everybody think its 'ok', not the way forward really is it
