it has 12 environments (8 real-world) and 47 tracks in total (incl. all configurations/variations)
so there are 47 tracks, but with only 12 environments most will share the same setting as another one but the track itself, will be different

not according to program managers ate sony steve they are saying that they can implement damage into it over time via downloads

unless its already wirtten into the game engine and all they need to do is unlock it then i highly highly doubt it.
if you think about it, everycar will be needed to download again, basically the whole game will need to be redownloaded, it would be an entirely different engine, different car models etc.
sony is renowned for bullshit aswell
