Not a chance I would change an Astra GSi for a Clio 172. Especially when your Astra looks the way it does

I would rather a clio than an astra, i haven't driven either but if I was looking to buy a new car i'd be more interested in the clio, seems more of a drivers car and more fun

Don't my brothers trying to talk me into a DC2

The thing is as Jr mentioned i do around 50miles a week and more if i have the luxury of Southend.

Its tempting to tune the fuck out of the astra but i just dnt know anymore

XE corsa? Never again unless I was held at gun point l:

Spoken to a few people with clio sports and they have said they literally fall apart!

I'm over the moon atm with my 106 over my cupra, it's all about the fun factor, but i do miss the luxury and the motorway cruiseability.

It depends what you want.

All i can say is since i've had my frenchy i've spent nearly enough on it to put my ibiza to about 300bhp!

You contradict yourself here, what do you want, seriously

I wouldn't sell the astra for a clio, never.

If you are serious about selling up think about stepping up rather than down imo.

well i brought a clio cus i couldnt afford a gsi turbo at the time lol

get a mk2 (o1 onwards) as there built alot better. Also dont listen to these fools saying 'i would only have the cup' because iv driven both extensivly and on the road theres nothing in it other than the full fat versions have ABS so on the road it gives you more confidence, hence i find them a bit quicker.

persoanlyid keep the astra, cus i like them and they suit my maturing driving style

Also dont go on clio sport, they have threads about shaving your chest hair,
get much better info from www.renaultsportsclub.co.uk

keep the astra get some more horses and sort the handling on it, rear ARB kit, strut braces, suspension, bushes, keep with vaux and get down the 1/4 mile
