Looks like you had some fun with it anyway.

Was it worth it in the end? As i am planning to try and do a c20let conversion myself too sometime at the end of this year.

in my opinion.......

im no mechanic, im a delivery driver. on a driveway the whole thing was built, it made 442bhp, ran a 1/4 in 12.3, does 0-125mph in just over 12 seconds all built by me and a mate

totally worth it

i cant really afford to continue on with it. the plans i wanted to do are just beyond what i can afford. i have no credit cards or cheque books, so i can only spend what i earn and the next few things to do to it have pretty much convinced me it has to go. either to someone to make it what it has the potential to be, or to someone who will enjoy it

what do you wanna do.

and honestly. id try and store it somewhere. that is a one off car. it is something special. you created it from the ground up. selling it to someone else (who would take credit for it) ruins what the car would mean

i couldnt store it, i use it nearly every day. if i kept it, i would have to drive it.

next step would be 500+bhp but unfortunately to do that takes away from the self built thing as i aint able to map it. ive done as much as i can with what i know and what ive learnt. id have to sink maybe 3k in it to get it where id want it id say, and thats far too much money

its not that its not enough, 442 is plenty of go, its just whats the point in stopping there when the engine should take more. as much as i use the car and enjoy it, its constantly in the back of my mind that we could make something proper special out of it.
