it comes off in one piece anyway without any heating, seriously use a piece of cotton it will go straight through the back of it in seconds
as steve said i tryed this method awhile ago and its spot on just use meths to clean any sticky glue off

I heated the badge with a hair drier. The actual badge just pulled away which meant i could just peel off the double sided tape. Using dental floss or whatever chews up the tape and makes it a cunt to get off.

1 heat gun to soften glue
2 credit card to prise off badges
3 petrol slap it on with a brush and rub it with the brush
4 credit card again brings off the glue
5 t-cut (its a dreadful polish but the only one that will do the job)
ive done this twice now, no scratch and it comes out jussssst gawgus

has any one had problems with faded paint.
wot i mean is over the years the car colour may fade slightly,so will the colour of the paint be slightly different under the badge after the badges are removed?
im wanting to de-badge mine but frightend case it will be a different colour green under the badge as when my spoiler was fitted and painted the colour is slightly different (not much) becasue it was fresh paint if you know what i mean

Done this myself on my car.
1.Run a credit card behind th ebadge (Sawing motion up and down)
2. Rub sand paper across the glue but BE CAREFULL not to snag the paint
3. Use "G3" to cover any marks. G3 is about £5 on ebay and is amazing stuff!
4. Wax the area to remove the mark G3 leaves
I also used the method to remove my bump strips and door badges

To the post above, my car is red and you cannot see any fading/non-fading at all. Cannot even tell the badges were ever there"

YOU DONT NEED A FUCKING HEATGUN OR BOILING WATER OR EVEN A FUCKING CREDIT CARD
1. saw off badge with bit of cotton (15 seconds)
2. remove glue with meths (about 8-10mins)
3.polish (few mins)
WILL TAKE YOU 15 MINS MAX

Thats the method i used steve, no cotton tho used a screwdriver wrapped in a cloth lol
no heating required, did it on a freezing cold day actually
