Tell him you're not keen and you don't want it, and you want the price you said not any more.
He can gain 25 quid or lose a tenant who will bringing in substantially more than that.
I think the mistake you made was looking like you wanted it.

Shouldn't have told the estate agent that I liked it really 
The problem is, the places in this buildding go out in the press, and usually by the end of the day they are gone so I'm not too sure if I want to risk it or not. If it was any more then I probably would give it a go, but it works out to about £300 more a year which isn't the end of the world. I'll just have to stop buying junk off of eBay or something.

Well, he didn't seem to mind when I said I was sharing the rent with a friend...
Anyhow, my names on a bit of paper and when I part with a large sum of money tomorrow morning to pay the deposit, it will be taken off the market officially and I will be able to move in. Annoyingly he said it would be ready on the 1st August. I told him I wanted it done in a week, especially after the rent increase. He said he would see what he can do when he speaks to the owner tomorrow.........

I need to move away from these bloody tramps too. One of them aske me for 87p on the way home. What kind of a figure is that the ask for? Another showed me a picture of his daughter, told me his life story, told me about how he just go out of prison, the asked for a quid. Fucks me off
