Far better than the generic pieces of shit that have been getting churned out the past decade or so. Still it's no Everton right enough is it

hmm im not a major fan, looks a bit messy imo.
like the idea of keeping the kop end seperate just think the design isnt well thought out.
trying to do too many things in one design

All that is meant to be different, on purpose. They wanted something modern and unique, yet linked to the past where grounds were all built modularly with seperate stands where they are always looked different.

Every stand being different will look daft IMO.
IF they want to keep the kop, then fine, but why not make it like Millenium Stadium, have a bowl design with one end being just being one big tier (I know the Millenium has 2 at one end but you know what I mean.
That would look a lot more "neat" instead of something that looks like some bloke just started building without any previous thought

because they dont want a bowl, thats why
Its designed to be different, to represent stadiums of old (take a look at Anfield now) where each stand is different. Its just being done in a different and modern way.
If we had gone down the bowl route then it would look like every other new stadium being built at the moment.

I have a feeling that they may be curved around to meet the back of the Kop if (when) the permission is given for the larger capacity. Not 100% on this though.

from the way it is shaped, it obviously to see that it at some point will be filled in a the corners
it'll never be as big as OT tho

by summer 2010 it will be bigger, unless you manage to squeeze a few 1000 seats in before then.

I thought the expansion was to 78k? that's about 1000 more than OT isn't it?

Looks much better in that picture. I hate that some people are dissapointed that it's different why make it look the same as millenium stadium or anywhere else for that matter, i'd rather have something that's instantly recognisable as lfc's and a bit cutting edge atthe same time.

There's different, then there is mismatched and odd.
I'm loving the outside, but the inside is a let down.

You can't really tell fromthe pictures about the inside imo, and obviously utilising the corner gaps for extra seating will have been thought of in terms of how it will change the feel of the inside, i'd be suprised if it linked the stand completely together but I like the way we have seperate stands anyway.
