Been to about 60 grounds and I'd say Fratton Park has the best atmosphere. Close to the pitch, always full and a good vocal crowd. Bell wanging bloke is annoying though

Was abit let down by anfield especially as when you see it on tvat european games. St james' is very good, best if you right next to the home fans as theres alot of banter/abuse. Old trafford is just full of numpties who enjoy doing the munich aircraft sign but as soon as an away fan does it there escorted straight out

What game you go to?

Normal league games are never normally like a European night as nothing beats those, but they are usually fairly good still compared to the majority of stadiums in England.

Try sitting just in front of the noisey bugger with that bell and trumpet ringing in your ear for 90 minutes

following burnley, it has to be taking over the darwen end at ewood park, and celebrating after micah hyde equalised at b*stards, closely followed by gary parkinsons winner at wembley vs stockport in 1995

the atmosphere at those grounds was absolutely buzzing

from watching games on tv, I have to say west ham looks like a good atmosphere, as does anfield for european games

West Ham v Burnley a few years back when it was 2-2 was a good atmosphere most noise ive heard Burnley at a game in London! It felt quite weird with all the riot police sat between the Burnley and West Ham fans tho!

agreed i dont like seeing any football violence, but when the police are seperating the home and away fans, it always creates a electric atmosphere

you arent the best fans when it comes to Anfield...Newcastle, Arsenal, WHU get that vote for me. Newcastle fans do create a good atmosphere, but get on the teams back very fast IMO.

I would personally say that Anfield on a European night is amazing. Even if your not a Liverpool fan you should try to see a big European game there as Im certain you'll never of been anywhere like it TBH.

Palace V man united was great. massive thunderstorm, loads of Cantona banter, both sets of fans never stopped singing from start to finish hurling abuse etc, then all in the pub after drinking together. tbh anyone who travels 5 hours to get to Selhurst park deserves 3 points Away fans get the luxury portaloos

last seasons win over man city 3-1 was a great game and it was amazing the atmosphere

York fans in the Longhurst stand can build up quite an atmosphere. Rest of the stadium is like a graveyard.

last game of season agaisnt oxford was noticable along with the cambridge game

Big atmosphere at Newcastle, so much passion from the fans you have to give them credit for it.

saw england at st james park and it was immense, plus i like newcastle as a place also

Best stadium has to be Old Trafford though, followed by St James' Park.
seconded

i get to a lot of foreign stadiums as i work abroad a lot
must admit, old trafford is not one of my favorites, i found it to be dirty, old and just poor atmosphere.
