Im sure my bodyshop guy is capable of that...Hopefully

Il need to get the doorcards off and have a look for the locks. Got told the line up pretty well and nothing needs done, i dont beleive it though.

Well parts are arriving VERY slowly! These super duper rare headlight protecters came today! Even rarer that there brand new!



Also put a deposit down on Starkies c20let out his cavy turbo that got wrote off (RIP Cavy)
Should have that by end of week to start rebuilding if the man gets time.

Fear not for the handles are not all that hard to fit. You just need to watch out for the window and its runner. I know someone who could not undo his door with the outside handle if the window was open lol.

How much work was it getting all the door locks etc lined up right? Did you have to modify anything?

Well these arrived today, Brand new genuine GM GSI sideskirts. All the way from Luxemborg




Also received my chris astley strenghening plate kit, so now i can crack on with seam welding the car

I made a new pair of bars to go from the handle to the lock but thats all. Its just a case when they are been fitted of measure 3 times, cut once.

yeh i do have a lot of money, but a lot of sweat and blood went into earning it (literraly)

Wylo, yeh Kyle is doing all the welding work for me! Wouldnt trust anyone else to be honest No runaround yet, should really get round to getting one. But using the mums motor is a lot cheaper

Wee update, went and got a engine tonight. Picked one up off of starkie after his cavy was written off
Will get some pics up tomorow night.

Its away getting seam welded and strenghened just now, should be back at end of the week then away for paint!

101k miler, still runs as sweet as the day it left the factory.




Cars away with a mate getting fully seam welded and strenghened, should have it back by end of the week. Then its time for a coat of paint or two.

Just a wee rebuild, the way the engine ran i can get away with changing gaskets, belts pumps, seals etc. Then i will do the full whack next year when i intend to go for big power.

Steve_B. I got them for 115 quid delivered. Got a guy from luxemborg on PNG to source them for me!

Ian_Gsi16v, im wanting to change the colour. I would love to keep it white, but there is already a white gsi turbo and another white gsi with a xe on throttle bodies in my town, wanting to go a little differant!
