It needs internet connection to be installed for an auto patcher, but the site it has to connect to is down ahhhhhhhhh

Supposedly its to do with piracy, theyre not lettin ppl download the patch until its officially released 2morro

It'd be alright if my connection sat at max speed, but it sits at about 24-37k/s average.

Just taken me over 24 hours (spread over days) to download something that was 3.6gb.

well i may just buy it if everyone says it's good once they play it...

Thing that I don't really see is the longevity of the game, I can see it being like wow this is cool, then getting bored.

badgers doesnt look like its here today, i blame the shit post service since the strikes, its been pretty piss poor even though there arent any strikes any more

theres an amazing story line in there apparently, with several different endings, its nothing like the typical fps

I'm just installing a game I just downloaded called Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl...

sounds fairly similar, free form world, different endings... deus ex / system shock style.

A friend got his today, says its utterly amazing. Played the demo on his 360, mine got the lights of death a few weeks back, only sent it back today
