leads to premature corrosion problems. Both BTB and Ashley reccomend NOT using it on a road car. My BTB manifold is going off this week for ceramic coating inside and out, obly about £150 and is far better than heatwrap at both lowering temps and retaining gas speed. also stops the manifold rusting
