both cars were x16xe and it is for free and you can do it your self, works on x14xe as well.

That was what I was planning for my 1.6

Not quite sure how you'd do it without spending any cash though, you need at least 1 new hose, if not 2, and a cone filter.

its as simple as this:

remove airbox, long black inlet pipe and whack a sock filter onto the back of the open Throttle Body.


more power
more torque
smoother power delivery

all for free, except £10 for a sock filter (free if you have some spare ones on the shelf)
