No not at all, i'm by no means a perfect driver but i'm guessing your a smoker so your obviously not happy about it. It does'nt affect me whatsoever, i'd be happy leaving it but my point is I don't think its any more or less dangerous than being on a phone while driving. Therefore it should'nt be allowed.

cant compare how you hold a steering wheel to banning smoking. I agree with the smoking ban good if you ask me.
P.S - Did you know smoking is bad for you? it can give you lung cancer and stains your hands/teeth. Makes your clothes smell aswell as being expensive!

fair point. thought you were saying its more dangerous than using your mobile at first!
I am a smoker yes and the reason i'm pissed off is i really cant see that i'm more dangerous if i smoke when driving. i only ever light up when i'm stopped and i dont have to take my eyes off the road once its lit.

I'd say good. Amount of cocks I see swerving while smoking is nearly as bad as people on the phone. It's dangerous.

yep if the cig is dropped but not the ash, it's extinguished the instant it leaves the lit end of the cig.

Good I say, hopefully it will stop inconsiderate smokers from chucking out the stubs onto the road and wrecking the paint on my car

It should be taken into account only when another offence has been caused by it.

Good that its banned I am like Deano though, I dont smoke and I dislike people who do, but what can you say, their tax on the fags keeps the NHS running. What sort of deluded country do we live in
