how did it beat a vtr when the vtr has both more power and is lighter? even a ph1 vtr with 90bhp would still probably edge it

Think Matty's car must be running a bit rough at the time. I had a go with him in my old Corsa and lost

Mine was pulling out 100bhp when ot was on the rollers last time.

steve do you have to disagree and argue with everything?

it was seen by loads of people me beating a saxo vtr

its not all about power and weight!

there are other factors which will affect the result of a race

yeah like someone who cant drive thats about it

are you trying to say your car is faster then something that has more power and less weight if driven by the same driver?

if so im genuinely interested to know how and why

2 cars with equal weight and power, it is very possible that 1 could be alot faster than the other

well the saxo even handles better, so i think you need to explain a little more how a car with more or equal power that weighs less is a lot slower than something that isnt.

simply saying so doesnt justify it for me im afraid.

tyres will make minimal difference unless we're racing on a track im afraid

so there you go steve!

tyres do make a big difference! whether on road or track. decent tyres = better grip!

what about power delivery?
