its a good advert. it reads well and shows he not a chav from the getto out to prove a point. a real enthusiast.
it is however way over priced, and the interior is awful. nice its unique but too much of a good thing, should have broke it up.
the engine bay looks cramped and i cant imagine it would be fun doing any work on it - not that it would be a huge issue as its never driven given its trailed everywhere.
£3.5-4k Max!

I was thinking the same James
As usual, it's worth more in bits than as a whole car

It's worth more than £10k. It has a £10k engine, a £20k interior, the re-spray would have set him back about £5k and the rest of it has had so many hours spent on it with regards to painting, powder coating and electroplating.
The market for such a car is small though.

Just read the adverts. D'oh.
But that is how much Carisma charge for a full interior with ICE built to that standard.

but as we all know, you dont just add on what you've spent
yes the engine is very tidy and has had some work done to it but look in the classifieds, jamesvalvers is half that price and has a 1/3 more power, yeah it may not have a full cream retrim or whatever but im sure its more fun to drive..

I think that's why he didn't just add on what he spent on to the price then. Jamesvalvers car is in a completely different league to this car. You can't compare a full on concourse standard car so something somone has just slapped a bit of powder coating here and some hammerite there and spent a few bucks on tidying up the engine.

Im not very keen on how it looks...
although its engine and bay is very nice,
and good brakes..
he'd get 3k for the engine and brakes alone imo so I reckon he'd get 5ish for it easily...
10k may be a little too high unless you get someone who really wants it

and the wheels dont do it any favours either, or that spoiler, the bonnet vent, although probably serves its purpose, just looks crap as not everyone will know its there for a purpose and assume its yet another stuck on scooby vent.
without all that lot and the rear lights it wouldnt be so bad, still asking price is ridiculous

Though the interior makes up for it as the people who did that knew what they were doing.

If that was a standard looking GSI in say black with some nice rims..maybe speedlines it would be worth 5.5K at a push.
In it's current state i wouldn't be seen dead in it no matter how fuking fast it goes.
