Loads of my mates buy them off ebay off an ebay seller called "kylincurio6688" he sells then for £50 and they work just as good as anyother set. and my mates had a set on his skyline for over a year now and still work fine

I dont see why people are paying £100+ ?

everyone should listen to steve, he has lots of experience with these kits and knows his stuff. plus he must have tested these kits on standard vehicle wiring to test the current and voltage draw, or maybe he is just spouting shit as usual.

no because if i wanted to fit OE HIDs to my skoda i would need to change the wiring to cater for the HIDs, standard wiring isnt suitable

this is information from skoda

but dont you have to buy different headlights also?

+ skoda would be in it for profit too. i bet they make up just some additional wire alot.

and to add i have a HID kit on the STANDARD wiring and bought the kit for £125 no problems or i could have spent £500 on the proper kit from suzuki,

i think i made the right decision.

my 4300k xenones are friggin ace, 12months on and there still as gud as the day i got them not bad for £68 altho min dint cum in a fancy metal box

Or Steve, you could buy a kit with integral wiring loom and just use the standard switch wiring as a signal (0.5volts) and then it will work fine as it draws current directly through the kits own loom directly from the battery.

all kits will do a similar job, some will do them better. in the same way that a crappy £200 Gmax suspension kit will 'do the job' but a Bilstein kit that costs £900 will do the job far better. a lot of the cheap kits flicker, are blinding to other road users and dont come with a 3 year warranty, also I bet they arent CE approved, Emarked and made in the UK.
