Nice attempt. I've always wanted to make a shorter lower inlet to fit a powerbox to.

ive seen alot worse welds then that all he needs to do is grind the welds down abit, prime it, and spray it. if it works well then its all good and fair play for doing it you'rself

who cares what it looks like. The main thing is if it works or not. hurry up and get it running mate . then get it mapped on a roling road, if it works all good only then start worrying what it looks like.basically just spray it black.

take one belt sander maybe some metal filler and then trip to powder coaters will look good then.

I'm glad my mad max power box has gained a bit of interest.

As for a performace upgrade it must be a sure thing. Didnt Dave A find that a sock filter gain somthing like 6bhp.

I'm going to try and get another made up a give it to somone to do the performace test.
Ideal candidate should have baisic engine mods ie filter exhaust, be prepared to fit it, have a before mad max power run, and then take it for a power run with the mad max fitted.

are there tubes going straight through the box for the bolts, or have you just drilled the top and bottom plates?

i had an idea of one of these before,

starting off with a diesel inlet manifold,

but i dont have a corsa now, and cant be arsed, may be an idea for someone else though

would be intresting to see gains of standard and this good efdfort, cosmetics can be sorted at any time you dont see it when racing do you....

I WILL TEST 1, Z14XE, 4 BRANCH, DECAT, FULL STRAIGHT THROUGH STAINLESS EXHAUST AND V SPORT FILTER
