Grass isn't seed either, so it just tears up when fat burger eating yanks decide to hit each other chasing an egg shaped ball with 14 year old cheerleaders jumping about with pom poms at the side. Great sport that

i dont mean that they have always been shit, i just mean that the current side, i.e. the side that they were exporting to the uk audience, is in my opinions the worst nfl team ever. they suck on both defence and offense.
it doesnt matter about their history due to how the draft works it all works in cycles.
but in terms of putting on a big exhibition and getting people to like the sport, sending out that dolphin team to england is stupid because they suck

That's what i thought about the choice of match.

Surely it would have been better to have sent the Colts or the Patriots over here, a team that most people would of heard of, and probably would of attracted more interest.

But then again, they might have sent a shit team because if a decent team lost they would probably complain. Who knows

i think its mostly because they are east coast teams so the time difference is small. also i think the dolphins have a bigish fan base out here from when the nfl was big in the 80's.

the dolphin fans in the uk are called the DOLFANS, i was at the game and it was a let down that the game was a bit boring and nothing really got the crowd going.

But just being there was enough for me it was an awesome experiance.

Off to Frankfurt Next year

yeh! that was also in the dan marino era! proberbly the most famous quaterback ever!

No it wasn't they did it in 1972, the Quarterback was Bob Griese.

Dan Marino would of been 11 at the time, an was not drafted until 1983 in the Quarterback Class of 1983 Draft and he has also never won a Super Bowl

True and considering he failed his medical from college and the team doctor wanted to drop him I think Favre has done well.
