Scotland win = Sctoland through, Italy out

Draw = Scotland through if france lose. If france win, scotland out.

Italy win = Scotland out.

mcfadden 1 nil is 50-1! my boss put 20 quid on it at lunch! tbh, if we have anyone that can win a game of this magnitude it is mcfadden.

I read in the paper this morning that an estimated 1 million pints of lager will be consumed in glasgow alone tomorrow

5 million pints over all, the busiest day for publicans in decades and a lot of bars are actually importing staff from England.

Suppose they have nothing to cheer south of the border anyway might as well jump on our bandwagon

Was in Glasgow shopping today, the place was over run with Italian supporters, lots of them wearing tartan bunnets and scarves along with their Italy tops and having loads of banter with us Scots

Becuase England fans hate Scotland, much like Utd fans hate Liverpool.

Cheering for your rivals just seems a bit strange to me

90% of English football fans seem to be supporting us and admire how we have played in the 'group of death' whilst an assembled team of superstars can't appear to get out of a group with Russia and Croatia. I certainly don't sense any hate towards us we haven't been good enough until fairly recently to be considered rivals.

While I do admire what you've achieved up in Jock Land, im certainly not going to jump on the bandwagon and give you my support like most folk down here seem to be doing.

Rival is a rival, no matter how far apart you are in the Fifa rankings.

IMO anyways.

Hating a national team is silly! Totally differant from the United v Liverpool rivaly.

The way I look at it, other countries national teams contain players from my domestic team so its nice to see them do well. chances are you'll see some good football too.
