just had another look, the morettes come with an adapter, where the usual bulb holder plugs in, it get rids of that bit and has an adapter which makes in longer and has a different bulb.
I took the holders out of my standard headlights and they do carry the wedge type bulbs.
I put the wedge bulbs and holder back in the plug and it had to move the wiring abit to make it fit in but they went in alright and work.
Accidently knocked the bulb off into the lamp though, so thats a job for me to do tomorrow lol.

how easy these to fit to an ibiza mate,got the same model as you and found changing the normal bulbs an absolute arse to do!did you take the whole light out?

Bought some off these type bulbs a few weeks ago for my wifes car, went for the 6 led type as opposed to the four led type , when fitted the light output compared to the normal single led type bulbs is amazing, but having just recently fitted 8k HID lights to the same car can honestly say the bulb looks pathectic next to the HIDs !! ie you can hardly notice the sidelights are even turned on, the light is so weak it gets lost next to the blinding hids ones!!
to be fair not a fault off the bulbs themselves but anyone thinking off adding these bulbs to there car to get an equal side light to there HID lights then would think again, anyone else again they really are excellent bulbs and well worth the money.

Bulbs are easy to change on the mk2 ibiza. You just push the back cap off the pull the sidelight out. Base modle mk2s have H4 headlights but GTIs have twin H1 bulbs in each lamp. Both easy as anything to change bulbs.
p.s. lad at work has fitted some of my white led sidelights to his corsa. They look much better in a corsa headlamp compared to my ibiza

Hmmm...you make it sound easy,I fitted xenon bulbs to my ibiza and theres hardly any hand room to put the bulbs in properly!Especially the drivers side one closest to the grill...will have another look bit later and possibly make a purchase

would be interested in a set as long as u can guarantee these wont die from the heat of a regular bulb as i had this prob with others i bought from another supplier
also be interested to know if u sell any other type of LED bulbs

Only got this type of LED bulb on the market at the moment.
Tested these bulbs with headlamps that have 2 H1 bulbs, headlamps that have twin H7 bulbs and headlamps with single H4 bulbs. None have damaged the LEDs with heat so far.

Im pretty sure HID kits retain the stock 501 sidelight bulbs, so yes
BUT
only blue ones left now sorry
Might order in another batch of white seeing as they sold so fast
