I have loads of videos off roading in mitsi's only ever got stuck once, I drove into the biggest pile of cow sh1te you have ever seen - seriously I couldn't open the door! I'll see if I can find a pic. . So yes they were fantastic off road.

Anyway, Land Rover tackled the problem with a new headgasket design, which Rover never used. That's a common upgrade on Rovers/Elises/Caterhams etc, so old headgasket problems don't always mean new ones.

Yep, the only thing that could pull me out!!! one of the lads tried with his x trail and never even moved me!! he had smoke coming from underneath and his dashboard was lit up like a christmas tree!!!

agree with the shogun comment, land rovers are proper shite next to them. I spent 2 days driving them both round the lake district. However for motorways id keep the golf.

Mitsi has selectable 2 / 4 wheel drive, diff locks adjustable suspension, not to mention a radio!, heaters !, power steering, ect

The shogun made the defender feel really old and fiddly, the jap crap was much more enjoyable to drive.
