Northampton, as the one before that was more northern and was a waste of time apparently.
If Calidus was ever online, he might suggest a meet round your way, I don't know the area well enough to though really, I've only been to Lincoln for a meet once, and wouldn't be able to get to the venue again

Thats a fair point Robin. I don't think there are that many active and corsa members from this area anymore!
Might be nice to try and organise a cadwell track day into next year?
I'm hoping to be taking the nova up once the 1600 is in but I would be looking to do a weekday april/may time!

A track day will be on the agenda at some point, but it's more likely to be a CS wide thing, rather than an EM thing.
I'll have a word with jr and see if he can sort something at Cadwell at around that sort of time, but it all depends who owns Cadwell I think.

Sam isn't an organiser anymore, he stepped down because of uni commitments.
I'm going to defend myself here, I don't own a Corsa, but neither do Fear, Lisa or Rob B, and I'm just as active now as I was before.
The main issue is the lack of meets up your end, which I've already explained are a problem for me as I know very little about the area.
I have no bones about organising a meet in Lincoln, but I wouldn't be sure if the location was any good, and I probably couldn't attend, as it's 140 miles round trip for me, which I can't risk/afford to do.
That's the reason when we discussed it with Ian originally, that we had an organiser your end (Rob) as well as one down here (myself) and one more central (Sam), but it hasn't worked out as we expected with only me being active.
If you are annoyed with the lack of meets near you (which I wouldn't blame you for) send Ian a u2u and see if you can take over from Robert, not just you Greg, that means anyone from Lincoln, a bit of help up that end would be great, rather than me organising meets blind.
I do try, but when people don't attend the meets which are organised, even after saying they would, then complain about the lack of them, it's a bit harsh (again, not aimed at you specifically)

I do realise the last meet was in October BTW, but like I say, I've been busy with a house move (which has been a total pain in the arse, and still is very stressful), so apologies for not organising a meet between then and now, as soon as that's sorted, and Christmas is over, I'll get something organised for January, or, if there's an active Lincoln organiser, we could have a meet there and I'll get a lift with someone

no i'm not too fussed tbh, never have been one for standing about in car parks. I was just wondering if that was a reason tbh.
